F.A.Q
Granite and Quartz are the most popular choices for countertops, but there’re many differences between them. Granite is a porous natural stone that has to be sealed and maintained to be stain-resistant. Quartz, on the other hand, is a non-porous man-made material that doesn’t require sealing. It is available in a variety of colors and textures, while granite is mostly dark earthy tones. Quartz is typically more expensive than granite, but its durability and lack of maintenance makes it worth the price.
Unfortunately, no, however there are several options of quartz that closely resemble natural marble.
On average it can take anywhere from 1-6 hours to install new countertops. The installation time depends on the complexity of the countertops, such as size, cut-outs, seams and backsplashes etc.. Please ask our professional for a more accurate estimate of installation time. This time frame does not include template and fabrication time.
Once the template process is completed our fabrication crew will determine if a seam is needed. Seams are typically necessary when the countertop is too long to be cut from one piece of stone or it can’t be carried and/or installed due to the location such as upper floors, buildings or tight spaces. Seams are a tiny visible line where two pieces of the stones are professionally glued together. Please contact us for more information.
Yes, you can! We work with many distributors all over NE. Please contact us to check which ones are the closest to you.
We are not licensed plumbers but we can recommend one if needed.
1. Clean your granite with warm soapy water.
2. Avoid using acidic or alkaline cleaners, such as vinegar, baking soda, and ammonia, as they can dull the surface of your granite countertop.
3. When spills occur, wipe them up as soon as possible to avoid liquids from absorbing into your stone.
4. Re-apply a sealer every 6 months-1 year.
5. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and scrubbing pads, as they can scratch and damage the surface of the granite.
